Message from the Prytanis
Welcome!
On behalf of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity, I would like to thank each and every person who has taken interest and the time to look at our site and get to know us. Since 1968, The Lambda-Iota Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon at Florida State University has provided members with the opportunity for expansion and growth while maintaining high brotherhood morale. As brothers, we strive to mold each other into better men and achieving our fullest potential by focusing on our strengths rather than our weaknesses.
College is a pivotal point in every man's life and the point at which many truly discover who they are. Here at Tau Kappa Epsilon, we encourage each member to freely express themselves. We stand not for wealth rank or honor, but rather for personal worth and character. Tau Kappa Epsilon stresses three essential elements: Love, Charity, and Esteem which are the building blocks of our success as a brotherhood and the success of our members.
I personally invite anyone interested in Greek Life at Florida State University to take the opportunity to experience TEKE. TEKE is more than a social fraternity; it goes well beyond college and our Chapter here at Florida State University. The true TKE experience only begins with college. The Lambda-Iota Chapter is merely one of 270 active Chapters stretching across the United States, Canada, and even Germany.
Joining Tau Kappa Epsilon is a choice that I will never regret. It has given me countless opportunities to network, given me access to job opportunities, allowed me to develop leadership skills, and so much more. Tau Kappa Epsilon is the largest college Fraternity, currently standing at more than 250,000 members strong.
Above all else, we as brothers believe in love and loyalty to our University, our Fraternity, and our Country. If these values are what you strive toward, the brothers of Tau Kappa Epsilon invite you to our upcoming rush events to allow you to take a closer look at how we work. It will give you an opportunity to meet the brothers, and for the brothers to meet you. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us. I urge every man to become part of something more: to become a brother of Tau Kappa Epsilon.
Thank you,
Nathan Carlson
